How many edited images will I receive?

Every session is different, so the number of final images will vary depending on the type and length of your session, location changes, outfit changes, and everything happening along the way. A good estimate is 40-100 full edited images per hour.

How long will it take to receive my full gallery?

Portrait and engagement galleries are typically delivered within 14 business days, while weddings and events are delivered within 6–8 weeks. I know waiting for your photos is hard, so I always try to share a few sneak peeks within the first few days!

Do you travel?

Absolutely! I love traveling and exploring new places. I travel throughout Northern California and beyond for weddings, elopements, engagements, couples, families, seniors and adventure sessions. From the California coast to the mountains—or somewhere completely new—I’m always up for an adventure.

What should I wear to my session?

Wear something that makes you feel comfortable, confident and like yourself. For engagement and couples sessions, I recommend bringing two outfits—one more casual and one a little dressier—to give your gallery more variety. I’m always happy to help with outfit ideas, colors and styling before your session, so don't hesitate to send me photos of what you're considering!

I don't think I am photogenic, can you help me?

Absolutely! Almost everyone tells me they’re not photogenic or feel awkward in front of the camera. That’s where I come in. I’ll guide and prompt you throughout your session so you never have to wonder what to do. My style is less about stiff posing and more about movement, interaction and having fun so I can capture genuine smiles, laughs and moments that actually feel like you.

How many outfits should I bring?

For most sessions, two outfits is perfect! I recommend one casual look and one dressier option for a little variety. For senior sessions, feel free to bring a few options and we can decide what works best with your locations and overall look.

Should I bring props?

Props are always welcome! Bring anything that feels personal or meaningful to you—champagne, blankets, hats, signs, flowers, your favorite drink or something that represents your personality or story. For senior sessions, sports gear, instruments, college gear, uniforms or anything connected to your hobbies can be a fun way to make your photos feel more like you.

Can I bring my Pets?

Absolutely! Pets are family, and I love when they’re included in sessions. Just let me know ahead of time so we can make sure the location is pet-friendly. Bringing a favorite treat or toy is always helpful too!

How long is my session?

Most senior, family, engagement and couples sessions last 45 minutes to one hour. Session length can vary depending on the location, outfit changes and what we have planned. If your session has a little more going on or you’d like extra time, we can always plan for an extended session ahead of time for an additional fee. I keep things relaxed and never rush—we’ll make the most of our time while keeping everything fun and natural.

When is the best lighting for pictures?

I love photographing during golden hour, when the light is soft, warm and beautiful. Golden hour is typically about 1–1.5 hours before sunset, and it’s my favorite time for outdoor sessions. If you’re an early riser, sunrise can be just as beautiful and usually comes with the bonus of fewer people around!

What gear do you use?

I am a Sony girl! I have multiple Sony cameras, Rotolights, off camera flashes, and all the professional gear I will need to document your special day. I always bring double and sometimes triple the gear to ensure I have backup incase something happens.
